26-28 September 2005 Queens' College, Cambridge, UK |
The Organic Semiconductor Conference series is a specialist conference focusing on technology developments across the whole field of organic semiconductors and is aimed at technology specialists in the commercial and
academic arenas.
The Organic Semiconductor Conference 2005 (OSC-05) was the third conference in the series and attracted participants from 14 countries, including Japan, Germany, Israel, USA, Belgium, Netherlands, Russia and the UK.
We had an impressive list of speakers drawn from the leading organisations (commercial and academic) in the industry. Delegates enjoyed fresh presentations which delivered information on technical progress.

The two optional workshops on Monday 26 September were very popular. These provided an introduction to the technical and
commercial aspects of the organic semiconductor industry, as well as presenting a broad overview of how organic semiconductor technology and products will evolve, and reviewing our analysis of organic semiconductor patents.
OSC-05 brought together individuals and organisations with an active interest in developing and commercialising organic semiconductor technologies. The conference programme aimed to cover the following topics:
- displays
- signage
- lighting
- electronics - RFID
- electronics - backplanes
- electronics - integrated circuits
- photovoltaic
- vacuum deposition systems

 |
- OLED mass production
- integrated scanners
- photonic sensors

Based in the beautiful surroundings of Queens' College, right in the heart of Cambridge, the conference provided plenty of opportunities
for informal networking outside of the main conference sessions, including the use of meeting rooms, a drinks reception, gala dinner, and chauffeured punting on the River Cam.
