Information for invited speakers

Thank you for accepting our invitation to speak at the 2009 Organic Semiconductor Conference (OSC-09). We very much value your participation in OSC-09 and are looking forward to seeing you in September.

As well as the opportunity to present your work and your organisation in front of an international audience, as an invited speaker you will also receive the following benefits:

Free entry to the conference, exhibition and drinks reception
Reduced rate to attend pre-conference seminars

Presentation guidelines

Length
You should plan for your presentation to take 25 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions.

Content
To ensure that the conference is of value to delegates and speakers alike, we are continuing with our requirement that content presented at the conference must emphasise progress and be "fresh".

Format
To ensure that the finished Proceedings have a consistent appearance we need your presentation in Powerpoint format. We guarantee that the Powerpoint version will be used purely to generate the Proceedings and will not be used for any other purpose or released to third parties.

Summary
We therefore ask that speakers adhere to the following requests:

to present progress, especially if you presented at last year's conference (OSC-08)
to place any slides about your organisation at the end of your presentation, unless agreed in advance
to submit your full presentation in Powerpoint format by 28 August 2009
to send any post-conference updates by 9 October 2009

Please submit your presentation online. (Powerpoint files are generally too large for our email service.)
