The panel of judges has carefully reviewed all the nominations received for the OSIA 2008 awards, and has selected the following shortlist:

    For developing a low-cost, flexible P-OLED technology which has high functionality, uses print-based toolsets, and offers early commercialisation opportunities
  • PARU Co.
    For using an R2R gravure printer, pad printer and inkjet printer to completely print antenna, rectifier and the ring oscillators and then successfully demonstrating a 13.56MHz operated 1-bit RFID tag
  • OLLA project consortium
    For developing and promoting OLED technology for lighting applications on a global scale.
Product of the Year Award
OSIA 2008 Product of the Year Award
  • BIOIDENT Technologies Inc.
    For PhotonicLab™ Platform, which uses printed sensor technology to eliminate bulky, expensive optical components, enabling a new class of truly mobile solutions for multiparameter point-of-use medical diagnostics and environmental testing with real-time test results.
  • Dupont Teijin Films (UK) Ltd
    For a range of PET and PEN flexible substrates, developed over the last seven years, which have been a key enabler in the development and commercialisation of a range of organic electronics applications.
